A medieval village survival RPG where your words matter as much as your sword.

Choose from 18 character origins and arrive in a procedurally generated medieval world with only a new farm and house. The villagers don't know you. It's up to you to build a place in their community.

Every NPC in Wanderfolk is powered by AI agents. They don't follow scripts. They listen to what you say, remember it, form opinions, and talk about you behind your back through a gossip network.

What Makes Wanderfolk Different
  • AI-Powered NPCs — 37 distinct NPC roles, each with a personality, backstory, and persistent memory. Conversations are freeform — say anything and get a contextual response. NPCs remember what you told them days ago and bring it up when relevant.
  • Gossip Network — Your reputation spreads through social connections. Help the blacksmith, and the elder might hear about it. Insult the shopkeeper, and the whole village knows by morning. Negative gossip spreads faster than positive.
  • Procedural World — 14 biomes, 10 cultures, procedurally generated villages with unique economies, politics, and military tensions. Every playthrough is different.
  • Real Consequences — Your reputation score (-100 to +100) with each NPC determines prices, job access, quest availability, and whether you're welcome at all. Drop too low? You get banished. Game over.
  • Emergent Quests — No quest boards. Quests arise naturally from NPC needs, village crises, and the economy. A food shortage means the farmer asks you to help harvest. A bandit raid means the elder needs a scout.
  • Browser-Based — No download, no install. Opens in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. WebGL-powered with Pixi.js v8.
